Meet with your academic or faculty advisor to discuss the best time to go abroad and which major, 小, or general education courses you should take.

• How long do you want to study abroad?
• What type(s) of program interest you?
• What locations offer classes that will fulfill your major/小/GE requirements?

5. Meet with the Office of International Affairs

Once you have completed the first three steps—or if you’re not sure w在这里 to get started—contact Ruby贝尼尼奥 (long-term 项目) or 泰Zanoni (short-term 项目) to set up a one-on-one study abroad advising meeting.

Students wishing to study abroad during a semester, 夏天, or academic year program must submit the North Park 出国留学 Application for approval by the following dates:

• 秋季学期或学年 课程申请截止日期: 3月1日
• 春季学期 课程申请截止日期: 9月15日
• 夏季学期 课程申请截止日期: 2月15日

Late applications may be accepted for particular 项目 at the discretion of the Office of International Affairs. For best chance of placement, submit a complete application by the deadline. It is your responsibility to submit a complete application by the appropriate deadline.

You will need the following information ready in order to complete your application:

1. A photo or digital copy of your passport. You can still apply without a passport, 但是如果你已经有了, please upload as part of the application.
2. Name and email address of your faculty advisor (not sure who this is? 检查 自助服务). You must enter this information on the application, and your advisor will be emailed a form to complete to authorize you for study abroad.
3. Name and email address of an NPU faculty member who you have requested to write a letter of recommendation for study abroad. They will receive further email instructions after you submit the study abroad application (click 在这里 to see the questions they will need to answer). Please be sure to contact this person at least two weeks in advance of the study abroad deadline and ask  if they are willing to write a letter of recommendation for you.

Your application will be reviewed after your advisor and recommender have submitted their forms to the Office of International Affairs. Remember: you are required to complete supplemental application materials for the NPU Exchange, ISEP, CCCU全球教育项目. 请联系 泰Zanoni (短期项目)或 Ruby贝尼尼奥 (long-term 项目) in the Office of International Affairs with any questions about the application process.
